The Supermicro AOC-SLG3-2E4 provides two internal NVMe connectors (SFF-8643) for high-performance storage connectivity. This pure HBA card is built on the PLX PE8718 PCIe switch and NVMe technology, meeting the demand for data throughput and scalability on enterprise servers, embedded/IPC systems and desktop workstations. It is well suited to nearline cache storage, where data waits before being flushed to backend storage.
