The Supermicro SuperChassis 846XA-R1K23B is a 4U chassis for E-ATX and ATX motherboards that combines storage capacity with numerous I/O slots. It offers twenty-four 3.5" hot-swap SAS2/SATA3 drive bays on a direct-attached backplane with Mini-iPass (SFF-8087) connectivity, two 2.5" bays and support for up to 13 full-height, full-length expansion slots. Redundant 1200 W Titanium Level supplies and five hot-plug redundant fans with an adjustable air shroud provide 100% cooling redundancy, and two 1000 W battery backup power modules are supported.
