The Supermicro SuperChassis 847BE2C-R1K23LPB is a 4U chassis for 12" x 10", 13.68" x 13" and 9.6" x 9.6" motherboards with single or dual Intel and AMD processors. It offers thirty-six 3.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA drive bays with SES3, plus two optional 2.5" hot-swap bays, on a 12-port and a 24-port SAS3 12 Gb/s dual-expander backplane. Power comes from a 1200/1000 W Titanium supply with PMBus, and seven 80 mm high-performance fans provide cooling, with seven low-profile expansion slots.
