The Supermicro SuperChassis 216BAC4-R1K23LPB is a 2U rackmount chassis supporting motherboards up to ATX 12" x 10", E-ATX 12" x 13" and EE-ATX 13" x 13.68" (up to 12" x 13" with the rear 2.5" drive option installed). It has twenty-four 2.5" hot-swap SAS/SATA bays, plus two optional rear hot-swap bays, on a 24-port SAS3 12 Gb/s hybrid backplane supporting twenty SAS3/SATA3 drives and four SAS3/SATA3/NVMe devices. Power comes from 1200/1000 W Titanium-level supplies with PMBus, and three 8 cm PWM fans provide cooling.
