The Supermicro SuperChassis 836BA-R920B is a 3U rackmount chassis for E-ATX and ATX motherboards, with sixteen 3.5" hot-swap SAS drive bays with dual-channel SES2 and Mini-iPass (SFF-8087) connectivity, plus two optional 2.5" hot-swap bays at the rear. It has space for an optional slim DVD-ROM drive and three optional slim 2.5" internal fixed drives. Power comes from redundant 920 W 80 PLUS Platinum (94%) supplies, and cooling from three 8 cm hot-swap and two 8 cm rear exhaust 4-pin PWM fans.
