The Supermicro AOM-TPM-9665V-C is a TCG 2.0 trusted platform module in a vertical client version, for motherboards with Intel Core i5/i7 and Xeon E3 processors. The module stores keys, passwords and digital certificates and protects them against external software attacks and physical theft. The TPM implements a Root of Trust that starts during the boot process, collecting measurements of the running environment and operating system for trusted reporting, so that applications, remote access, electronic transactions and digital communications can run more securely.
