EP-133 K.O. II is a sampler, sequencer and composer that builds on the PO-33 K.O! with more power, more sampling capabilities, a reworked sequencer and punch-in 2.0 effects. Record sounds around you with the built-in mic, sample your voice, synths, vinyl or audio from your phone, resample sounds with effects, and use the preloaded selection of drums, bass and keys. Patterns are sequenced in free time or quantised with swing, scenes are chained in song mode, and filter, pitch and other parameters can be tweaked and automated.

The vintage-style keys combine tactile feel with pressure and velocity sensitivity, and a multifunction fader is used for performance. Each of the 9 projects contains 4 groups with up to 99 patterns, each pattern with 12 tracks for samples and MIDI; song mode chains scenes into 99 positions. Stereo line in/out, sync in/out, MIDI in/out and USB-C connect it to other gear and computers, and the EP sample tool manages samples and project backups on Mac or PC.
