The AJA FiDO-T-12G-ST is a 1-channel 12G-SDI to single mode ST fiber transmitter from the FiDO range of AJA fiber Mini-Converters. It converts one 12G-SDI signal from BNC inputs to single mode fiber, for cable runs up to 10 km (32,808 ft). It handles 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI signals (270 Mbps - 12 Gbps, format agnostic) and passes SDI metadata through, including HDR. Its locking ST barrel connector gives secure connectivity, an advantage in live event, production and mobile environments. The compact, low-profile enclosure works well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, in trucks and on camera, and runs on 5-20 VDC power with a universal power supply included.
