The AJA FiDO-T-SC is a 1-channel 3G-SDI to single mode SC fiber transmitter from the FiDO range of AJA fiber Mini-Converters. It converts one 3G-SDI signal from BNC inputs to single mode fiber, for cable runs up to 10 km (32,808 ft). It handles 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals (150 Mbps - 3 Gbps, format agnostic) and passes SDI metadata through, including HDR. The fiber link provides electrical isolation, useful for eliminating ground loop problems. The compact, low-profile enclosure works well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, in trucks and on camera, and runs on 5-20 VDC power with a universal power supply included.
