AJA FiDO-TR-MM 1-Channel 3G-SDI / Multi-Mode LC Fiber Transceiver
The AJA FiDO-TR-MM is a 1-channel 3G-SDI / multi-mode LC fiber transceiver from the FiDO range of AJA fiber Mini-Converters. It works in both directions over a duplex fiber link: it sends an SDI signal out over multi-mode fiber and receives one back to SDI, for cable runs up to 700 m (OM4) or 300 m (OM3). It handles 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals (150 Mbps - 3 Gbps, format agnostic) and passes SDI metadata through, including HDR. The fiber link provides electrical isolation, useful for eliminating ground loop problems. The compact, low-profile enclosure works well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, in trucks and on camera, and runs on 5-20 VDC power with a universal power supply included.
