AJA FS-HDR Real Time HDR/WCG Converter and Frame Synchronizer
AJA FS-HDR is a universal converter/frame synchronizer designed for the High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) needs of broadcast, OTT, production, post and live event AV environments, where real time, low latency processing and color fidelity are required for 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD workflows. Its HDR/WCG processing is powered by the Colorfront Engine video processing algorithms, developed in partnership with Colorfront, and converts SDR to HDR, HDR to SDR and HDR to HDR, as well as between BT.709 and BT.2020. It also converts the log output of popular professional cameras from Sony, ARRI, Panasonic, RED and Canon in real time.
In Single Channel Mode FS-HDR is a full 1-channel up, down and cross-converter for 4K/UltraHD HDR/WCG transformations; Enhanced Single Channel Mode outputs 4K/UltraHD and 2K/HD simultaneously with independent HDR settings. In Four Channel Mode it offers four independent channels of 2K/HD HDR/WCG processing. Connectivity includes Quad 1.5G, Dual 3G and Quad 3G on BNC, plus 12G/6G-SDI through optional HD-BNC and fiber SFP modules, with an audio matrix covering embedded SDI, AES and MADI. It can be controlled from the front panel, a web UI or a REST API.
