AJA HA5-Plus HDMI to 3G-SDI Mini-Converter
The AJA HA5-Plus is an HDMI-to-SDI Mini-Converter that brings HDMI and 3G-SDI devices together for monitoring and recording in the edit suite, on set or at live events. The HDMI input is converted to a 3G-SDI output; up to eight channels of HDMI audio are passed through to the SDI output, and two channels of analog audio can be embedded from the RCA inputs. The equalized HDMI input supports runs of up to 30 meters with 24 gauge cable, and the 3G-SDI output uses PLL clock filtering for a low jitter signal. Progressive SD signals at 525p and 625p are accepted for compatibility with DSLR cameras. Configuration is via USB with AJA Mini-Config on Mac or PC.
