AJA KONA 4 4K/2K/HD/SD 3G-SDI PCIe I/O Card
The AJA KONA 4 is a 4-channel video and audio desktop I/O card for SD, HD, 2K and 4K, with full 10-bit 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling and 12-bit support. Four bidirectional 3G-SDI connections with 16 channels of embedded audio can be used for input and output, and the HDMI output displays 4K/UltraHD on UltraHD monitors, with 4K to HD downsampling. It supports 4K high frame rate at 50p and 60p, real time up, down and cross-conversion (HD/SD), a hardware downstream keyer and AJA Raw capture at up to 120 fps via four 3G-SDI connections. For HDR workflows it supports HDR10, HLG, PQ and Dolby Vision over SDI and/or HDMI (application dependent), with HDR metadata capture and auto playback detection in AJA Control Room.
The included breakout cable provides reference (analog or tri-level), LTC, RS-422 and 8-channel AES/EBU connections, and the optional K3G-Box breakout box extends connectivity for rack environments. KONA 4 works with AJA Control Room, Control Panel and SDK tools and with applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, OBS Studio, vMix and Telestream Wirecast, on macOS (including Apple silicon), Windows and Linux.
