KONA HDMI is a multi-channel HDMI capture card designed for gaming, streaming, VJ-ing, live event switching, vlogging, VR, post and broadcast. Its four full-size HDMI inputs capture two channels of 4K/UltraHD or four channels of 2K/HD, up to 60p, and each input carries 8 channels of embedded audio. Ports 1 and 2 are HDMI 2.0, ports 3 and 4 are HDMI 1.4b.
For live streaming and switching, up to four 1080p sources such as cameras, game consoles and presentation systems can be connected and switched in applications such as Telestream Wirecast and vMix. HDR signals (PQ, HLG, HDR10, Dolby Vision) are accepted and, with AJA Control Room, HDR metadata is captured into the .mov file. KONA HDMI is supported by the AJA SDK and Video for Linux (V4L2), and works on macOS (including Apple silicon), Windows and Linux.
