AJA KONA LHi Multi-format Analog and Digital PCIe I/O Card KONA-LHI-R0

KONA LHi bridges analog devices and 3G-SDI and HDMI equipment for editing, monitoring and mastering professional video. It connects to anything from an HDMI camera to an HD-SDI VTR, with 10-bit or 8-bit uncompressed video, 8-channel SDI embedded audio, 2-channel AES digital audio, analog composite, S-video or SD/HD component video I/O and 2-channel balanced analog audio I/O.

HDMI 1.3a support feeds a deep colour monitor with 10-bit video, and incoming HDMI signals can be passed to the SDI output. Hardware 10-bit motion-adaptive SD to HD up-conversion, HD to HD cross-conversion and HD to SD down-conversion are available during ingest and playback, and outputs can be configured independently, for example for simultaneous HD and SD. A 9-pin RS-422 port on the included breakout cable or the optional KLHi-BOX controls external decks for frame-accurate ingest and layoff.
