AJA OG-FiDO-4T-MM

AJA OG-FiDO-4T-MM is a four-channel 3G-SDI to multi-mode LC fiber transmitter card for openGear frames, part of the OG-FiDO-4 family of high-density SDI/fiber converters for broadcast, production, sports, live events, house of worship, campus installations and Pro AV. It converts four independent 3G-SDI signals on BNC into four multi-mode LC fiber outputs, using two AJA FIBERLC-2TX-MM SFP modules.

All four SDI BNC connections are independent and fully isolated, so different supported SDI data rates can be carried at the same time. Automatic data rate detection and reclocking maintain signal integrity, and SDI ancillary data, including HDR metadata, passes transparently. Each card occupies two openGear slots, allowing up to 40 SDI/fiber channels in one frame; status is monitored remotely with openGear DashBoard and locally with the Input Present and SMPTE Lock LEDs. At the other end of the fiber link, AJA fiber products for the same fiber type, such as the FiDO Mini-Converters, provide the corresponding conversion.

Notes

• The OG-FiDO-4 family has nine configurations; in the 3G multi-mode group this card is the 3G-SDI to multi-mode LC fiber transmitter, alongside the receiver (R) and 2 Tx/2 Rx (X) versions. T = transmitter (SDI to fiber), R = receiver (fiber to SDI), X = 2 Tx/2 Rx.
• An openGear frame is required and sold separately; the card uses two frame slots.
