AJA 12G-AM 12G-SDI 8-Channel AES Audio Embedder/Disembedder
The AJA 12G-AM is an 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder Mini-Converter with 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. AES disembedding is always active, providing four AES outputs, while embedding is selectable per channel pair: each pair can either pass the audio already in the 12G-SDI input or embed the AES audio coming from the breakout cable.
The converter detects and configures the input video standard automatically and supports HDR pass-through. A 1.5G-SDI internal signal generator lets the embedder path work even without a source connected to the SDI input. It is set up with DIP switches or via USB with the free AJA Mini-Config software, and its small size allows installation behind a monitor, in a rack or on a camera rig.
