AJA 3G-AM-XLR 3G-SDI 8-Channel AES Embedder/Disembedder with XLR Breakout Cable
The AJA 3G-AM is an 8-channel AES audio embedder/disembedder with 3G-SDI input and output up to 1080p 60. Disembedding is always active, providing four AES outputs, while embedding is selectable per channel pair: each pair can either pass the audio already in the 3G-SDI input or embed the AES audio coming from the breakout cable. AES inputs are sample rate converted to 48 kHz, synchronous to the video input.
The converter detects and configures the input video standard automatically and supports HDR pass-through; it is set up with DIP switches or via USB with the free AJA Mini-Config software. This 3G-AM-XLR version is supplied with an XLR breakout cable for balanced AES: four female XLR inputs and four male XLR outputs (AES3 110 ohm).
