AJA PAK1000-X3 PAK 1 TB SSD Module, exFAT

PAK media is a high capacity solid state drive encased in a protective housing with a rugged connection, engineered for repeated use in the field. PAK1000-X3 offers 1 TB and is supplied formatted exFAT for immediate use on arrival; the media can also be reformatted as HFS+ in the Ki Pro or from a desktop computer. It records ProRes or DNx files that can be brought directly into post production.

PAK uses enterprise-level flash memory, with higher endurance than consumer media and data retention during power loss, and every unit is individually burned-in and tested by AJA before shipping. The solid cast aluminium enclosure protects the internal SSD from knocks and accidental drops, and the gold-plated connector is rated for 10,000 insertions. Files can be transferred to a computer over USB-C with the PAK Dock Pro, sold separately.
