Atomos Shogun Studio 2 Rackmount Dual Monitor-Recorder ATOMSHSTU2
The Atomos Shogun Studio 2 combines Atomos multi-channel recording technology with two 7-inch HDR touchscreen displays in a single 3RU unit. It is suited to live events, OB vehicles, production galleries and MCRs, post-production facilities, video wall playout, on-set DITs and sports officiating, and connects to practically any SDI or HDMI source, including cameras, PTZ cameras and vision mixers.
It records two channels of 4Kp60 or up to eight HDp60 sources in Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW (including ProRes RAW HQ) and Avid DNx, and plays out up to 4Kp60 video with playlists. Pre-roll recording keeps an 8-second cache in HD or 2-3 seconds in 4K; multi-camera ISO recording and switching of up to 8 SDI inputs at up to 1080p60 is supported. The short-depth chassis has redundant dual power supplies and grouped rear connectivity per channel with 12G, 6G, 3G and 1.5G SDI I/O, HDMI in/out, XLR audio I/O, genlock and LTC input with loop-through. The screens use dynamic zoned backlighting.
