The ATTO Celerity FC-642E provides expanded switch connectivity for 64Gb/s Gen 7 Fibre Channel SAN installations, delivering up to 12,800 MB/s per channel from a single PCIe Gen4 expansion slot. It is intended for OEMs, integrators and end users who want to get the most from their Fibre Channel SAN. The card is backward compatible with 32Gb and 16Gb Fibre Channel, supports NPIV, Virtual Fabric and trunking with Brocade switches, and includes Silicon Root of Trust firmware authentication and a Fast Path architecture for lower latency.
