ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8100T Dual-Port 10GbE to 12Gb SAS Tape Bridge XCET-8100-TNE

The ATTO XstreamCORE ET 8100T is a 10Gb Ethernet to 12Gb/s SAS intelligent bridge that connects and shares SAS tape drives and libraries over iSCSI Ethernet, maximising drive shareability. It offers two 10Gb Ethernet ports for iSCSI host connections and a single x4 12Gb/s Mini-SAS HD SFF-8644 port that auto-negotiates to 6Gb/s, supporting up to 4 SAS tape drives per bridge (LTO-5 or later). This model supports tape devices only.

The bridge is operating system independent (an iSCSI initiator is required), delivers up to 2GB/s sustained transfer rate with less than 2 microseconds of added latency, and is configured and managed through a web-based GUI. Tape drives are mapped automatically, and LEDs show port, power supply and bridge status.
