The BirdDog X4 Ultra Combo includes three X4 Ultra PTZ cameras in white (BDX4UW) and one BirdDog KBD PTZ controller (BDKBD). The BirdDog KBD controller has a 5" multiview display with up to four NDI HX or RTSP previews and tally borders, a 4D joystick with super-fine mode, Camera Setting Sync and control via NDI, VISCA-IP, ONVIF, RS-232 and RS-422.
BirdDog X4 Ultra is a 4K60 PTZ camera with a Sony 1/1.8" sensor and 20x optical zoom that combines image quality with wide connectivity: 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB-C, NDI HX3, SRT, RTMP and RTSP. With built-in Wi-Fi 6 and a battery providing up to 6 hours of operation (usage dependent), it can capture shots where cables cannot reach; the battery recharges via USB and the camera can also be powered via the included DC supply or PoE+.
The Halo tally surrounds the lens with a large daylight-visible border, removable silicone rear numbers help switcher operators identify cameras, AI tracking keeps the subject framed and the always-on E-Ink label shows the camera's network details even when switched off.
