BirdDog 4K HDMI NDI Encoder/Decoder BD4KHDMI
BirdDog 4K HDMI is a Full NDI converter of the 4K Family, built around BirdDog's custom NDI silicon and housed in an aircraft-grade aluminium case. It encodes and decodes all resolutions up to 4Kp60, including HD formats, and with the latest firmware supports dual-channel encoding and decoding. It provides one HDMI 2.0 input, one HDMI 2.0 output and one 12G-SDI connector selectable as input or output.
A built-in cross converter can loop the 12G-SDI input to the HDMI 2.0 output and vice versa. The SFP+ cage supports fibre or copper connections from 1GbE to 10GbE (SFP+ modules sold separately), and the Gigabit RJ45 port supports PoE+. An integrated tally light and selectable tally borders on the loop outputs, a 4-line OLED status display, the BirdDog Comms audio intercom and the RESTful API complete the feature set.
