BirdDog Mini HDMI Full NDI Encoder/Decoder BDMINIHDMI
BirdDog Mini is a compact Full NDI encoder and decoder built around BirdDog's custom NDI silicon and housed in an aircraft-grade aluminium case. It can be set as encoder or decoder with one click in the web console: as an encoder it brings HDMI sources up to 1080p60 into NDI; as a decoder it outputs any Full NDI source on the network to a screen or projector over HDMI, for digital signage, stadiums, houses of worship and IMAG. Mini encodes and decodes only Full YUV 4:2:2 NDI, with line-based processing for very low latency.
The built-in NDI tally system needs no configuration and includes a large tally display, selectable tally borders on the loop output and an external tally output. Mini supports the BirdDog Comms audio intercom, Central and the RESTful API, and can be powered by PoE, D-Tap from a camera battery or the supplied power adapter.
