Datavideo PTC-285 4K Auto Tracking PTZ Camera
The Datavideo PTC-285 is a 4K50/60p auto tracking PTZ camera that can be controlled via the RS-422 serial port or over IP with DVIP or Sony VISCA over IP. It outputs HDMI 2.0 and IP at up to 2160p 50/60 and 3G-SDI at up to 1080p 60/50, all at the same time, for flexible integration into different production setups.
Auto tracking can be accessed directly from the supplied RMC-1AT remote control and from DVIP controllers such as the RMC-300A and PTZ View Assist, as well as from switchers such as the KMU-200 and SHOWCAST 100. When filming several people, a designated person can be tracked while desks, passers-by and large objects are ignored. A PID algorithm adapts pan, tilt and zoom speed to the subject, an S-shaped speed curve smooths acceleration and deceleration, the subject can be placed centre, left or right, and the RMC-1AT quickly selects full-body, half-body or close-up framing.
