HDMI to HD/SD-SDI converter with two SDI outputs and audio embedding, for connecting HDMI camcorders to SDI switchers and recorders over long cable runs.
Datavideo DAC-9P HDMI to SDI Converter
Many High Definition camcorders and devices only provide an HDMI output. The Datavideo DAC-9P connects HDMI devices to professional SDI equipment such as video switchers or recorders up to 200 metres away. HDMI is not suitable for long cable runs, while SDI offers high quality and affordable connectivity. The DAC-9P also embeds the audio from HDMI into the SDI signal, so a single cable is enough.
