Earthworks SR25mp Matched Pair Cardioid Instrument Microphones
The Earthworks SR25mp is a matched pair of SR25 cardioid instrument microphones designed for miking drums and electric guitars in live performance and studio recording. Timbre and frequency response stay uniform across the entire front of the capsule, and a fast transient response handles sharp attacks while capturing the softest dynamics. With a 145 dB SPL rating there is no risk of overload on loud guitar amps and drums.
The near-perfect cardioid pattern is consistent across all frequencies, simplifying placement and giving more gain before feedback, and over 30 dB of off-axis rejection suits highly ambient environments and positions near monitor speakers. Besides drums and guitar amps, the SR25 is also suited to brass, woodwinds and acoustic guitar.
