The Earthworks SR30mp is a matched pair of SR30 multi-purpose cardioid condenser microphones for instrument miking in live performance and studio recording. The SR30 delivers a transparent, true-to-life sound, with timbre and frequency response that stay uniform across the entire front of the capsule.
Its near-perfect cardioid pattern is consistent across all frequencies, simplifying placement and giving more gain before feedback, and over 30 dB of off-axis rejection suits ambient environments and positions near monitor speakers. A fast transient response and short diaphragm settling time capture sharp attacks and subtle dynamics, and the 139 dB SPL rating avoids distortion.
