Ikan E-Image Aluminum Tripod with P6 Quick Release Plate for PTZ Cameras GA230-PTZ
The E-Image GA230-PTZ combines a durable aluminium tripod with a quick release plate as a solution for PTZ cameras, which do not need a tripod head: the fluid head is replaced by a P6 quick release plate. The plate has a spring-loaded thumbscrew that lets you fasten it without touching the camera, by pulling the screw outward and changing its angle to keep tightening. The camera plate slides forward or backward before being secured with the lock-down lever, a safety release prevents the camera from falling if it is not locked, and the plate is interchangeable with Manfrotto 501 plates. A bubble level ensures correct alignment.
The geared centre column extends 18 in (approx. 46 cm) and locks for high-angle shots, and the flat mounting base has a 3/8"-16 screw. The tripod holds up to 26.5 lb (12 kg) and includes a stone bag for added stability. A 1/4"-20 recess at the base of the centre column takes accessory arms for wireless transmitters, lights or monitors, and the P6 plate has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads for lighter accessories such as a shotgun mic, LED light or tally light. The legs have a built-in mid-level spreader and retractable foot spikes for soft ground.
