Ikan E-Image Virtual Production 100mm Pro Fluid Video Head GH25XR-PRO
The E-Image GH25XR-PRO by Ikan is a head and lens tracking system for virtual production. It consists of the GH25XR encoded fluid head, an XR data processing box, zoom and focus lens encoders and a DC power cable, and records the pan and tilt angles of the head and the zoom and focus positions of the lens in real time. A 100 mm bowl tripod with sufficient payload is needed.
The GH25XR head has integrated pan and tilt encoders with output via an 8-pin locking cable, supports cameras up to 61.7 lbs and offers adjustable counterbalance (1-15) and pan and tilt drag (0-7). The data box collects data from head and lens encoders and outputs it in the FREE-D protocol via RJ45 (UDP) or RS-422, for virtual production software such as Brainstorm, Vizrt, Avid (Orad), Unreal Engine, Ross Video and Qimera; status LEDs show data reception, genlock and FREE-D output. The lens encoders fit most broadcast lenses with 0.5, 0.6 and 0.8 pitch gears and have a resolution of 65,536 counts per revolution.
