The Ikan PT4500-TMW-TRIPOD-TK turnkey broadcast solution combines a 15" teleprompter, a 15" widescreen talent monitor, a tripod with fluid head and a dolly for studios, live events and virtual productions. Teleprompter and talent monitor are protected by hard travel cases. All systems are tested by Ikan for payload compatibility: with the full teleprompter system mounted (without counterweight) it accommodates camera setups up to 21.2 lb (9.6 kg), or 15.3 lb (6.9 kg) with the counterweight.

The lightweight aluminium teleprompter of Ikan's 4th generation series has several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points and a 15" 4:3 1000 nit monitor with composite (BNC), HDMI and VGA inputs; the American made 70/30 glass is readable from up to 17 ft (5.18 m). A rail allows the whole setup to be offset by up to 7" for balancing, and four camera riser plates plus a counterweight accept a wide range of cameras. The monitor has a built-in tally light that receives the tally signal over an Ethernet (RJ45) cable and lights up when the camera is live or recording. The 15" widescreen talent monitor (1920 x 1080, 1000 nits, 3G-SDI/HDMI/VGA) lets the talent check look and framing without looking away from the lens, and its red/green tally shows when the camera is live with a compatible switcher.

The heavy-duty aluminium twin-tube tripod with E-Image Mono-Lock adjusts from 18" to 63" (folded length 29") and, on its own, supports cameras up to 44.1 lb (20 kg). The 100 mm fluid head has separate pan and tilt locks, 8-step counterbalance and two pan handles suitable for zoom, focus and iris controls; its 8" plate gives an extra 6" of sliding range for balancing. The dolly (132 lb / 60 kg) has height-adjustable cable guards.
