Ikan International PT4500W-PEDESTAL-TK 15" Widescreen Teleprompter w/ Tally Light, Pedestal & Dolly Turnkey w/ Travel Case

Ikan 15" Widescreen Teleprompter with Tally, Pedestal & Dolly Turnkey with Travel Case PT4500W-PEDESTAL-TK

The Ikan PT4500W-PEDESTAL-TK turnkey broadcast solution combines a 15" widescreen teleprompter, a pneumatic pedestal with fluid head and a dolly for studios, live events and virtual productions. The teleprompter travels in a rolling hard case. All systems are tested by Ikan for payload compatibility: with the full teleprompter system mounted (without counterweight) it accommodates camera setups up to 17 lb (7.7 kg), or 11.1 lb (5 kg) with the counterweight.

The lightweight aluminium teleprompter of Ikan's 4th generation series has several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points and a 15" widescreen 16:9 1000 nit monitor with 3G-SDI, HDMI and VGA inputs; the American made 70/30 glass is readable from up to 17 ft (5.18 m). A rail allows the whole setup to be offset by up to 7" for balancing, and four camera riser plates plus a counterweight accept a wide range of cameras. A switch on top of the monitor selects between the front-facing and the top tally light, so the monitor can be used as a script monitor or as a talent monitor.

The pneumatic pedestal has an air-assist centre column for effortless height adjustments, aluminium legs and a spreader; on its own (without teleprompter and head) it supports up to 44 lb (20 kg), with a 12.6" (32 cm) on-shot stroke. The 100 mm fluid head has separate pan and tilt locks, 8-step counterbalance and two pan handles suitable for zoom, focus and iris controls, and the heavy-duty dolly (132 lb / 60 kg) has height-adjustable cable guards.
