The Ikan PT4700S-TMW-PEDESTAL turnkey broadcast solution combines a 17" 3G-SDI teleprompter and 19" widescreen talent monitor, a carbon fibre pneumatic pedestal with fluid head and a dolly for studios, live events and virtual productions. All systems are tested by Ikan for payload compatibility: with the full teleprompter mounted (without counterweight) it accommodates camera setups up to 35.5 lb (16.1 kg).

The lightweight aluminium teleprompter has several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points and a 17" 4:3 1000 nit monitor (1280 x 1024, aluminium chassis, image flip) with 3G-SDI, HDMI and VGA inputs; the American made 70/30 glass reflects the script to the presenter while the camera records through it, and is readable from up to 20 ft (6.1 m). A rail allows the setup to be offset by up to 7" for balancing, and camera riser plates plus a counterweight accept a wide range of cameras. The 19" widescreen talent monitor (1920 x 1080, 1000 nits, 3G-SDI/HDMI/VGA inputs) attaches right below the teleprompter with its mount for 15 mm rods or VESA 100, so the talent can check look and framing without looking away from the lens. Its OSD adjusts contrast, brightness, backlight, tint, chroma, sharpness and individual RGB channels, the aspect ratio can be set to 16:9, 4:3, full or automatic, an image flip button flips the picture, and with a compatible switcher its built-in tally light shows red, green or yellow.

The pneumatic pedestal has carbon fibre legs and comes with an air pump to inflate the centre column, while an air release fine-tunes the balance so that height adjustments become effortless; on its own (without teleprompter) it supports cameras up to 61.7 lb (28 kg), with a 15" (38 cm) on-shot stroke. The 100 mm fluid head offers 15-step counterbalance, adjustable pan and tilt drag, separate locks and two pan handles, and the heavy-duty dolly has track-lock wheels for tracking and arc shots and cable guards. The pedestal travels in a rolling case and the dolly in a soft case.
