Ikan 17" SDI Teleprompter, Tripod & Dolly Turnkey PT4700S-TRIPOD
The Ikan PT4700S-TRIPOD turnkey broadcast solution combines a 17" 3G-SDI teleprompter, a tripod with fluid head and a dolly for studios, live events and virtual productions. All systems are tested by Ikan for payload compatibility: with the full teleprompter mounted (without counterweight) it accommodates camera setups up to 23.8 lb (10.8 kg).
The lightweight aluminium teleprompter has several 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounting points and a 17" 4:3 1000 nit monitor (1280 x 1024, aluminium chassis, image flip) with 3G-SDI, HDMI and VGA inputs; the American made 70/30 glass reflects the script to the presenter while the camera records through it, and is readable from up to 20 ft (6.1 m). A rail allows the setup to be offset by up to 7" for balancing, and camera riser plates plus a counterweight accept a wide range of cameras.
The heavy-duty aluminium twin-tube tripod with E-Image Mono-Lock adjusts from 18" to 63" (folded length 29") and, on its own, supports cameras up to 44 lb (20 kg). The 100 mm fluid head has separate pan and tilt locks, 8-step counterbalance with fixed pan/tilt drag and two pan handles; its 8" plate gives an extra 6" of sliding range for balancing. The dolly (132 lb / 60 kg) has height-adjustable cable guards, and tripod and dolly come with carrying bags.
