The Ikan PT4700-17TM-KIT belongs to Ikan's professional teleprompter series, designed for quick setup and efficient work in outside broadcast or professional studios. The lightweight anodised aluminium teleprompter has multiple 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads for mounting on a pedestal, and carbon fibre 15 mm rods.
The American-made 70/30 glass balances reflection and pass-through without distorting the image, and the 17" 1000-nit monitor keeps the text crisp and visible in sunlight or under studio lighting, readable from up to 20 ft (6.1 m). Three camera mounts of different heights and counterweights allow a wide range of camera sizes, and the base slides to adjust balance without removing the plate.
The kit ships in reusable custom-cut foam that can be re-used in the SKB iSeries 3i-2217-12BE waterproof hard case (case not included).
The kit adds a 17" talent monitor with mount, so the talent can check their look and framing without moving or looking away from the lens.
