Kiloview N40 4K HDMI to NDI High Bandwidth Bi-Directional Converter
The Kiloview N40 is a compact (100 x 80 x 28 mm) bi-directional converter. Through its HDMI 2.0 interface it encodes 4Kp60 video into NDI High Bandwidth with 4K HDMI loop-through for monitoring, or decodes NDI High Bandwidth to 4K HDMI output; the mode is selected in the user interface. Output switching between NDI sources is seamless, and in decoder mode sources preset on numbers 0-9 can be selected with a USB keypad. With an NDI Discovery Server, sources can be found from other networks.
Audio is handled via 3.5 mm analogue mic in/out or embedded audio, with voice intercom through a USB headset and the Kiloview Intercom server. PTZ cameras are controlled via USB to serial RS-232/485/422 or over IP, and a large, bright tally shows PVW/PGM status. It can be powered by PoE over a single cable or by DC from 5 to 18 V. With the free NDI Webcam Input tool, Kiloview NDI encoders can be used as the video source in desktop applications such as Zoom, Teams, WebEx and Skype.
