AJA KONA X 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 Ultra-Low Latency PCIe Card KONA-X-R0
KONA X is a 4-lane PCIe 3.0 video I/O card designed for AI, AR and virtual production workflows. It has two full-size bidirectional 12G-SDI BNC connections and two full-size HDMI 2.0 ports, one input and one output. Support for GPUDirect RDMA moves video directly between the I/O and the computer buffer, bypassing the on-card memory, for the lowest possible latency in applications that support it, such as live sports graphics and virtual production.
KONA X handles 4K/UltraHD, 2K, HD and SD with 10-bit 4:2:2 and 12-bit 4:4:4 colour, HDR10, HLG, PQ and Dolby Vision over SDI and HDMI, and VESA formats on HDMI. A built-in hardware downstream keyer overlays graphics up to 4K/UltraHD in real time. It works with AJA Control Room and Control Panel, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Media Composer and the AJA Developer SDK. The optional KONA Xpand board adds reference, LTC, RS-422, AES/EBU and analog audio.
