The Laowa 10mm f/4 Cookie is a pancake lens designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Only 25 mm long and weighing 130 g, it is easy to carry and to use handheld, and offers a 109.3° ultra-wide angle of view, making it the widest rectilinear pancake lens according to Laowa. It is a take-everywhere option for street, landscape, travel and everyday photography. This version has the Canon RF mount in black finish.
Distortion is very low, keeping horizontal and vertical lines straight and reducing correction work in post-production. The optical design has 12 elements in 8 groups with 2 aspherical and 4 extra-low dispersion elements. The 5-blade aperture creates a 10-point sunstar on point light sources. A 10 cm minimum focusing distance and 0.15x maximum magnification allow wide-angle close-ups with good subject separation, and a 37 mm filter thread takes screw-in filters without a holder.
