Laowa Probe Zoom 15-24mm T8 (Direct View Module) Arri PL Cine Lens
The Laowa Probe Zoom 15-24mm T8 belongs to a new generation of macro probe lenses for professional cinematography. With an ultra-wide 15 mm perspective (110.5° angle of view), a zoom range and a modular design with different viewing angles, it is currently the widest probe zoom series on the market, combining extreme macro with environmental shots in an immersive perspective that traditional macro lenses cannot achieve. This version has the direct (0°) view module and the Arri PL mount.
The long, waterproof barrel - among the longest on the market - works well in difficult environments, including underwater and tight spaces, with protection against moisture and dust; the barrel rotates through 360°. Its 1.6x zoom ratio and parfocal design combine extreme macro with environmental shots. The 5 mm minimum working distance reveals the finest textures. The Laowa 0.7x focal reducer is fully compatible and reduces the crop factor on Super 35 sensors, keeping the ultra-wide perspective; with it the effective aperture becomes brighter, up to T5.6. Optional interchangeable mounts are available for Canon EF/RF, L-Mount, Nikon Z and Sony E.
