The Laowa Probe Zoom 15-35mm T12 belongs to a new generation of macro probe lenses for professional cinematography. With an ultra-wide 15 mm perspective (110.5° angle of view), a zoom range and a modular design with different viewing angles, it is currently the widest probe zoom series on the market, combining extreme macro with environmental shots in an immersive perspective that traditional macro lenses cannot achieve. This version has the 90° view module and the Arri PL mount.
The long, waterproof barrel - among the longest on the market - works well in difficult environments, including underwater and tight spaces, with protection against moisture and dust; the barrel rotates through 360°. The 15-35mm offers the widest zoom range in its class (up to 2.3x) with a parfocal design, for more pronounced dolly zooms and crash zooms, and up to 2.3x magnification. The 5 mm minimum working distance reveals the finest textures. The Laowa 0.7x focal reducer is fully compatible and reduces the crop factor on Super 35 sensors, keeping the ultra-wide perspective; with it the effective aperture becomes brighter, up to T5.6. Optional interchangeable mounts are available for Canon EF/RF, L-Mount, Nikon Z and Sony E.
