The Laowa 15mm f/4.5 0.5X Wide Angle Macro covers full-frame sensors and is a compact option for wide-angle macro shots, with 1:2 magnification, good sharpness and colour fringing control. Its 110.5° angle of view suits landscapes, architecture, wildlife and close-up details. This version has the Canon RF mount and manual aperture.

At the 12.9 cm minimum focusing distance it reaches 0.5x magnification, ideal for detailed foreground subjects against a wide background. The optical design includes 3 ED elements to minimise chromatic aberration and 2 aspherical elements that keep distortion very low for architecture, landscapes and interiors. It weighs about 308 g (47.7 x Ø70 mm) and has a detachable hood, a 62 mm filter thread for ND or CPL filters and a 5-blade aperture for 10-point sunstars.
