Laowa 24mm T8 2X Pro2be PL (Periscopic Module) Cine Lens

Laowa 24mm T8 2X Pro2be Cine Lens (Periscope Module) PL

The Laowa 24mm T8 2X Pro2be is the new generation of the Laowa Probe lens. The complete system consists of three lenses, also sold separately: a 0° direct-view module, a 35° view module and a 90° periscope module. The long tubular barrel passes through objects and reaches viewpoints that are otherwise impossible, with up to 2x magnification and a T8 maximum aperture, 1 3/4 stops brighter than the earlier Probe and PeriProbe (T14). The barrel is waterproof for 36.6 cm, with the safety limit clearly marked on it, so the lens can be dipped into water. It is supplied with an Arri PL mount; interchangeable Canon EF, Canon RF, Nikon F, Nikon Z, Sony E and L-Mount mounts are sold separately.

The 90° periscope module gives a wide view offset from and parallel to the sensor axis, in any direction, while preserving the exact perspective in the viewfinder. It allows ground-level shots of objects on the floor while the camera stays mounted on a tripod, as well as table-top shots through narrow spaces.
