Laowa 25-100mm t/2.9 OOOM PL (Metric Scale) Cine Lens

Laowa OOOM 25-100mm T2.9 S35 Cine Zoom PL (Metric Scale) LWAOOOM2510029PLM

The OOOM 25-100mm T2.9 is Laowa's first cine zoom: a versatile 4x zoom from wide angle to telephoto that blends vintage character with modern sharpness, for narrative and documentary work, from one-person crews to full film crews. It covers Super35+, i.e. the larger Super35 sensors (over 33 mm diagonal), and has been tested on RED Monstro and ARRI Alexa, covering up to RED Monstro 6K HD, RED Gemini 5K HD, RED Helium 8K HD and ARRI Alexa Mini 4K UHD.

The design is parfocal, so focus holds while zooming, and focus breathing is kept to a minimum. The constant T2.9 aperture allows low-light shooting across the zoom range, and the lens focuses down to 60 cm. Colours and bokeh have a vintage look with natural skin tones. The lens comes with a PL mount plus user-interchangeable Canon EF and Sony E mounts, stored in the foam-padded case. The optional 1.4x FF Expander makes it compatible with full-frame sensors, and the optional 1.33x rear anamorphic adapter gives a 2.39:1 widescreen ratio on 16:9 sensors. This version has a metric distance scale.
