The Laowa Argus 33mm f/0.95 CF APO is a prime lens for APS-C sensors. Its apochromatic design, with one extra-low dispersion element, one aspherical element and three ultra-high refraction (UHR) elements, minimises chromatic aberration across the frame, in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas, while keeping high resolution.
The ultra-fast f/0.95 aperture suits low light, night scenes, astrophotography, portraits with shallow depth of field and narrative video, and the 9-blade aperture produces soft bokeh. For video it offers minimal focus breathing, internal focusing, a long-throw focus ring and a stepless aperture ring for continuous exposure changes. Minimum focus distance is 35 cm.
