The Laowa 55mm f/2.8 Tilt-Shift 1X Macro is Laowa's first tilt-shift macro lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras, combining a precise ±10° tilt and ±12 mm shift with 1:1 life-size magnification and a fast f/2.8 aperture. Thanks to its large image circle it can be used on medium-format cameras; on medium format the shift is limited to ±8 mm.

Tilting the focal plane lets you place sharpness exactly where it is needed without stopping down, for example across a product surface, reducing the need for focus stacking, or create creative effects such as the miniature look; with reflective products it also helps minimise unwanted reflections. Shift corrects converging verticals in architecture and simplifies stitching. The tilt and shift directions can be rotated for flexible framing. The lens focuses down to 27 cm, has 14 elements in 11 groups for high image quality with minimal vignetting, a 77 mm filter thread and a built-in Arca-Swiss compatible lens support. It suits commercial, product, macro, landscape and architectural photography.
