Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2:1 Ultra-Macro Lens for Sony A (Minolta)

Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Lens for Sony A (Minolta) LWA60MMIN

The Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro was the first macro lens on the market to focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity. Its 0.1x to 2x magnification range lets you work on close-up subjects and then switch quickly to portraits or distant subjects without extension tubes, which makes it suitable for fast-changing shooting situations; the 60mm focal length also makes it an all-in-one lens for portraits and extreme macro.

The patented optical design with 9 elements in 7 groups uses two main moving lens groups to control barrel distortion, and the lens barrel also acts as a hood, shading the front element when focusing on distant subjects. The 14-blade aperture forms an almost circular opening for soft bokeh. Focus and aperture are manual, with no EXIF data transfer. The lens is designed for APS-C sensors and can also be used on full frame for macro work; at infinity focus slight vignetting may appear on full frame.
