The Laowa Nanomorph 65mm T2.4 extends the Nanomorph series of compact anamorphic lenses for Super35 and Micro Four Thirds cameras, now with five focal lengths (27mm T2.8, 35mm T2.4, 50mm T2.4, 65mm T2.4 and 80mm T2.4). With a constant 1.5x squeeze across the focus range it delivers 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing, leaving room to crop to 2.4:1, with oval bokeh and horizontal flares, and its 70 cm minimum focus distance emphasises the oval bokeh and the sense of compression.

Laowa's patented optical layout forms and focuses the image before the cylindrical elements, so the squeeze ratio stays the same at close focus and faces do not stretch. This version has the traditional blue flare, suited to sci-fi and cool moods. The cine housing has a unified focus ring position for quick lens changes without moving the follow focus, 0.8 mod gears on focus and aperture rings, a long focus throw, imperial and metric scales, adjustable back focus and a 62 mm front thread for screw-in filters. Canon RF mount; on the mirrorless versions the mount can be swapped with optional mounts sold separately.
