The Laowa 8-15mm f/2.8 FF Zoom Fisheye is a full-frame lens for photographers and content creators looking for bold, creative perspectives. At 8mm it produces a circular fisheye image with a 180° angle of view, ideal for immersive landscapes, astrophotography and 360° panoramas; zooming to 15mm the angle narrows slightly and the image fills the full-frame sensor as a rectangular fisheye. One lens therefore gives two fisheye effects, switching between them while zooming.

The constant f/2.8 aperture across the zoom range helps in low light, indoors and at night, and allows a shallow depth of field to isolate subjects. The 16 cm minimum focus distance exaggerates the fisheye perspective for a bug-eye point of view. It is one of the smallest and lightest full-frame fisheye zooms with a constant f/2.8 aperture, suited to travel, handheld shooting, vlogging, action sports and cityscapes.
