Laowa Proteus Flex 2X 100mm T2, feet scale, anamorphic PL/EF

Laowa Proteus Flex 2X Anamorphic 100mm T2 Cine Lens for Arri PL/Canon EF (Feet Scale)

The Laowa Proteus Flex is the 2X anamorphic Proteus lens with user-interchangeable flare. It comes with the Proteus main body and four flare modules: amber, silver, blue and the new clear coating, which produces a minimal horizontal flare for a cleaner look. Silver is fitted by default. A module can be screwed in or swapped by the user in about 10 minutes, with no further optical calibration.

Like the Proteus series, it uses a patented anamorphic design with fixed anamorphic and spherical groups and a variable front spherical element for focusing, so the 2X squeeze stays constant: 2.66:1 on a 4:3 sensor and 2.4:1 on a 6:5 sensor after de-squeeze. It offers T2 aperture, oval bokeh, low focus breathing and Super 35+ coverage (ALEXA 35 at 2.39:1, RED V-Raptor 7K 6:5 ANA), and covers full frame with the 1.4X expander. The cine housing has 0.8 mod gears, collimation adjustment, a 300° focus throw, a 105 mm filter thread and a lens support. Focus scale in feet.
